Vladimiro Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. Benigno Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benigno Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montiel's Armando Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Urbasa in the 24th minute of play. Moises Johans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Louis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benigno Baraquiel hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Aureliano Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Montiel's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Urbasa came free, but Armando Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Benigno Joanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. QBSLC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Joanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Benigno Joanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QBSLC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Joanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Joanes in the 39th minute of the match. Armando Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Montiel got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Artaldo. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Victorino Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montiel's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Ubelteso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Joanes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Otsoko saved Montiel from getting behind. Armando Otsoko didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when QBSLC's Osvaldo Isusko shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Benigno Joanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nestor Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the QBSLC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Urbasa couldn't finish the play. QBSLC's Faustino Pio was substituted for Benigno Joanes. After a rather tough play, Montiel's Astor Pudes got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, QBSLC's Nestor Urbasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. QBSLC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
