Spectators: 7068 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) Cruzados's Faustino Gabirel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jacinto Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. But to his dismay, Baltasar Pio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, ROCHOS SA's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Gabirel came free, but Braulio Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruzados's Baltasar Pio got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Roldanillo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Roldanillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Cruzados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Roldanillo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Elodio in the 37th minute of play forced Cruzados's goalkeeper Pascual Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Baltasar Pio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Elodio to make the kick off. Braulio Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ROCHOS SA's Braulio Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Gabirel in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Jacinto Elodio lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Pascual Peter. In the 63rdth minute of the game Faustino Gabirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROCHOS SA's Braulio Nisio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pascual Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Ostadar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. ROCHOS SA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jacinto Elodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascual Peter having to make a save. In the 77th minute, Faustino Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victor Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruzados's Pascual Peter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Cruzados from getting a goal against them. Pascual Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Elodio in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Cruzados got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Barea. 92 minutes into the match, Jacinto Elodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Peter. Cruzados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
