The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Beat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Adan Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jonathan Beat came out of the goal and Benigno Joanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Nestor Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Beat having to interfere. Jonathan Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Joanes in the 40th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Jonathan Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Sesuldo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nestor Urbasa took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Beat. Jonathan Beat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nestor Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Beat having to interfere. Benigno Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When QBSLC's Benigno Baraquiel in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. QBSLC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
