The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Aldo Jatsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neild FC and the The Catalyst FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Neild FC's Aldo Jatsu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Txordon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Catalyst FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neild FC the free kick. Arnulfo Txordon hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Danilo Koldobika struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Fernando Evis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Catalyst FC. Fernando Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Danilo Koldobika left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Catalyst FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Neild FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lucas Cordario hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes The Catalyst FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Sanchez. After 25 played minutes, Neild FC's Jorge Salbatore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haroldo Mikelats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neild FC reached it. In the 27th minute Arnulfo Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Neild FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Paez. After 34 played minutes, The Catalyst FC's Joaquin Ler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Evis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Catalyst FC reached it. Neild FC's Fernando Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Koldobika in the 36th minute of play. Adolfo Eate scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Mikelats, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in The Catalyst FC's zone, Lucas Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Mikelats came out of the goal and Lucas Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, The Catalyst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Cordario came free, but Haroldo Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Txordon made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, The Catalyst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Eate came free, but Haroldo Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, The Catalyst FC's Marcelino Ramond got a free kick in the 57th minute. Haroldo Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Gauargi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Txordon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Evis. Arnulfo Txordon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, The Catalyst FC's Joaquin Ler got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Jorge Salbatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Ramon Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neild FC! Danilo Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Evis having to interfere. With 94 minutes on the clock, Jonatan Paez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Catalyst FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
