The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Adolfo Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Chanchon League's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Heli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute of the match, Victor Irrintzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roman Salvator saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Elvio Bonifaco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpatacal's Ignacio Teyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elvio Bonifaco's late challenge caught a Alpatacal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Bonifaco helped the player get up and apologised. Elvio Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Alpatacal's Victor Irrintzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Salvator made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Adolfo Heli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Chanchon League fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Alpatacal's Everardo Ugutz got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alpatacal's zone, Fermin Bartoleme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Teyo came out of the goal and Fermin Bartoleme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Irrintzi to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Aristides Hernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Chanchon League's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpatacal the free kick. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Chanchon League! Roman Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Isaias Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Elvio Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpatacal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Chanchon League the free kick. Dionisio Rafe kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Elvio Bonifaco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Ignacio Teyo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Adolfo Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Elvio Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Adolfo Heli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ignacio Teyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to La Chanchon League getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Adolfo Heli hit a great ball. When the match was over La Chanchon League could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alpatacal throughout the match.
