Spectators: 7042 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mauro Ermengol started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Rescate's Haroldo Bartolome threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ezequiel Manilan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Almafuerte's Haroldo Bartolome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Manilan in the 6th minute of play. Ubaldo Sayveon kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Rescate's Zeledon Loiola got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Haroldo Bartolome successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zeledon Loiola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Haroldo Bartolome made a huge save. In the 21st minute Damaso Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Loiola scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Bartolome, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Claudio Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rescate's protests and gave Claudio Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rescate getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudio Llanos hit a great ball. Zeledon Loiola came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Haroldo Bartolome could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte's Ulises Firman got a free kick in the 35th minute. Victorino Aureo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Haroldo Bartolome didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rescate. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Loiola got free with Haroldo Bartolome in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Ermengol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Bartolome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Valiente in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Manilan was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Almafuerte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Ezequiel Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Victorino Aureo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Bartolome showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Almafuerte's Haroldo Bartolome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Manilan in the 57th minute of play. Ubaldo Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Egoitz having to interfere. Abel Montez charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Montez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Rescate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Montez to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Egoitz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hilario Paul. Rodolfo Egoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Ermengol in the 71st minute. Mauro Ermengol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Sayveon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Ermengol couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Egoitz having to interfere. Almafuerte's Haroldo Bartolome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Loiola in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Manilan in the 90th minute of play forced Almafuerte's goalkeeper Haroldo Bartolome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Ermengol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Bartolome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Manilan in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Almafuerte players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rescate.
