Pablo Uzuri took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Bartolome. Silvestre Loi took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timoteo Maties. If Silvestre Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Mauro Ermengol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Pedroso made a kick off. Mauro Ermengol hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Pablo Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Bartolome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sporting Tucson players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
