Jeronimo Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Ekialde in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Paloma's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Silbestre came free, but Leonides Salamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Paloma getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zeledon Casomiro hit a great ball. Romeo Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Salamon having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Campbell AFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Fertus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Ekialde. Zeledon Casomiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Paloma's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Silbestre came free, but Leonides Salamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Fertus having to interfere. Jeronimo Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jeronimo Fertus made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Victorio Ekialde sent off a good shot on target. Victoriano Deunoro's late challenge caught a Paloma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Deunoro helped the player get up and apologised. 37 minutes into the game, one of Campbell AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jacobo Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jeronimo Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Paloma made a substitution. Nicanor Isidor replaced Jacobo Ricart. Paloma's Baldomero Artaldo was substituted for Zeledon Casomiro. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Silbestre made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Victorio Ekialde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeronimo Fertus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jeronimo Fertus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Isidor went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rdth minute of the game Victorio Ekialde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campbell AFC's Jeronimo Fertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeronimo Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Ekialde in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Victorio Ekialde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jeronimo Fertus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeronimo Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Cilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Romeo Silbestre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campbell AFC and the Paloma players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romeo Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Isidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Fertus was relentless in the 76th minute of the game.
