After 14 played minutes, Celina CF's Gonzalo Hermon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogelio Moise came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Celina CF reached it. Eustacio Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Maureo in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Celina CF's zone, Braulio Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Marcones came out of the goal and Braulio Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Euloxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rama FC's Rogelio Moise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Gai in the 33rd minute of play. Generoso Claude's late challenge caught a Celina CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Claude helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
