Edgardo Matai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tobias Sotero. Mallín FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tobias Sotero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Cugat's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Jose Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes in the game, Aquilino Delfino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Enzo Iban having to interfere. Tobias Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Tobias Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Moises Platon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mallín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assassins Clowns the free kick. Tobias Sotero was a little too slow when Jose Iraunkor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-1. Mallín FC's Tobias Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Iraunkor in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Assassins Clowns's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Delfino came free, but Enzo Iban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Enzo Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jose Iraunkor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Sotero. That made the score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. Denis Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Aquilino Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Astor Telo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mallín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Telo couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes in the game, Jose Iraunkor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tobias Sotero having to interfere. Francisco Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Sotero having to interfere. Camilo Lawrence's late challenge caught a Assassins Clowns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Mallín FC got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Lawrence. If Adan Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
