Expulsados's Tomas Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Frans in the 7th minute of play. Donato Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Chesus having to interfere. Cecilio Frans struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Tomas Chesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Calabria. Donato Frederico was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. La Calabria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 12th minute Cecilio Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Calabria were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Expulsados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baldomero Arano took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Expulsados's goalie and right to Hilario Brion. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Expulsados's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Eustaquio Isidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 22 minutes, Hugo Cordaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Calabria and the Expulsados players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, La Calabria's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Isidor came free, but Cesar Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Serapio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Calabria! Eustaquio Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cesar Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Chesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Frederico in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Expulsados's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Frans came free, but Tomas Chesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Calabria's zone, Astor Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Shepherd came out of the goal and Astor Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Isidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Isidor made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Calabria's zone, Eustaquio Isidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Shepherd came out of the goal and Eustaquio Isidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eustaquio Isidor came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Expulsados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Isidor couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tomas Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Astor Frans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tomas Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Mon kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Tomas Chesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Frans in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, La Calabria's Cecilio Frans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Chesus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cesar Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Isidor in the 95th minute of the match. Expulsados's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
