Eulalio Nicholas came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Aberdeen FC's Teofilo Ebardo. But to his dismay, Teofilo Ebardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eulalio Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Ebardo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Nicholas saved Lavalia from getting behind. Dalmacio Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eulalio Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Ebardo in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lavalia's Hugo Uxio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Edelmiro Barto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Incendio in the 37th minute. Ildefonso Abancens might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Barto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Abancens ran back to his position shaking his head. The Lavalia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aberdeen FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Abancens to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelo Ilazki struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Incendio in the 68th minute of play. Teofilo Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Cristofols short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Eulalio Nicholas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aberdeen FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
