Gral. Belgrano B's Hector Lluterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Gral. Belgrano B from getting a goal against them. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Rosario Futbol Club's Geronimo Markel in the 6th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hector Lluterio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gral. Belgrano B through an amazing save. After having played for 11 minutes, Patricio Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gral. Belgrano B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Lluterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Markel in the 14th minute of play. Hector Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Kimetz in the 23rd minute of the match. Teodosio Urbez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Teodosio Urbez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hector Lluterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Melquiades Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gral. Belgrano B's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Aznaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antonio Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gral. Belgrano B's Hector Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Markel in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Gral. Belgrano B's Hector Lluterio got control of the ball when Teodosio Urbez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Hibai took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Amaya. Herminio Amaya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hector Lluterio made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Teodosio Urbez sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 57th minute Teodosio Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Amaya made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Melquiades Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gral. Belgrano B booed when Rosario Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Paolo Valerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Amaya skillfully saved the ball. Antonio Haitz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Herminio Amaya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Arce made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Geronimo Markel. Prudencio Tipi's late challenge caught a Gral. Belgrano B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Tipi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rosario Futbol Club's Prudencio Tipi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Melquiades Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Herminio Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Rosario Futbol Club's goalkeeper Herminio Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Hibai. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
