In the 7th match minute, Lavalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Uxio to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Ihazintu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eulalio Nicholas. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Selatse couldn't finish the play. Vicente Vistruario got his second yellow card in the match during the 19th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Valentin Dayam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anier Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Lavalia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Incendio couldn't finish the play. Roque Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Nicholas having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Roque Selatse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eulalio Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Sabagasta's goalkeeper Roberto Menendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Incendio. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Valentin Dayam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sabagasta players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lavalia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
