After a defensive mix-up in Lavalia's zone, Geronimo Markel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Nicholas came out of the goal and Geronimo Markel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lavalia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cosme Lehior hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Lavalia's goalkeeper Eulalio Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Arce. Ildefonso Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Rosario Futbol Club's goalkeeper Herminio Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Incendio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Urbez in the 55th minute of play forced Lavalia's goalkeeper Eulalio Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Incendio struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Herminio Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalia. In the 62nd minute Ildefonso Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Lavalia's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Markel came free, but Eulalio Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Abancens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Amaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Incendio in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Futbol Club's zone, Ildefonso Abancens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Amaya came out of the goal and Ildefonso Abancens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, Rosario Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. Lavalia were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Rosario Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Celipe took the corner. The corner ended in Dalmacio Celipe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rosario Futbol Club's Herminio Amaya did a great save. In the 87th minute, Teodosio Urbez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosario Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Geronimo Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Felipo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Felipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Lavalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Felipo to maneuver through the defense. Lavalia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
