After a defensive mix-up in Che Oncativo's zone, Jesus Saturnin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Larra came out of the goal and Jesus Saturnin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Che Oncativo's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Roldanillo came free, but Genaro Larra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Clodoveo Ferrando in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sub Marino Amarillo's Silvestre Tercero. In the 17th match minute, Sub Marino Amarillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Tercero to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Roldanillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Larra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Roldanillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonel Ted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Tibalt in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Baltasar Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Saturnin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Genaro Larra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sub Marino Amarillo. After a rather tough play, Sub Marino Amarillo's Alberto Gaizkine got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes, Che Oncativo's Clodoveo Ferrando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Ted came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Che Oncativo reached it. After having played for 38 minutes, Gregorio Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sub Marino Amarillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Roldanillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Che Oncativo booed when Sub Marino Amarillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Roldanillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Eguzki made a kick off. Carmelo Leobardo did an outstanding performance 52 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Leonel Ted in the goal. After a rather tough play, Che Oncativo's Silvestre Eguzki got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Gregorio Roldanillo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonel Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Ted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Silvestre Eguzki scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Ted, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Gregorio Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sub Marino Amarillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Roldanillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alberto Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Che Oncativo's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Roldanillo came free, but Genaro Larra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
