In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico de Rafaela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Che Oncativo a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clodoveo Ferrando, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atletico de Rafaela's Amador Jax. 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Che Oncativo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Atletico de Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Manuelo. A hard shot 26 in the game by Braulio Oriche from a close distance when the talented Amador Jax managed to make a qualified save. Atletico de Rafaela's players were relieved. Godfredo Manuelo's late challenge caught a Che Oncativo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Manuelo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Atletico de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amador Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Rafaela's zone, Fernan Chinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Jax came out of the goal and Fernan Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Oriche in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amador Jax, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Genaro Larra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Maurin in the 45th minute of the match.

Amador Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Oriche in the 52nd minute of play. Braulio Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Amador Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Atletico de Rafaela's Santo Bazil made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Larra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ariel Godoy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. During the 71st minute of the match Godfredo Manuelo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Godfredo Manuelo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Atletico de Rafaela's Godfredo Manuelo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Clodoveo Ferrando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Jax skillfully saved the ball. Carmelo Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Jax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Rafaela's zone, Ambrosio Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Jax came out of the goal and Ambrosio Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Jax having to interfere. Atletico de Rafaela were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Che Oncativo's much stronger midfield.
