An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Urbes in the 9th minute of play forced Club Cordoba Capital's goalkeeper Hilario Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Tabb having to interfere. Cristobal Eguen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Tabb having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Club Cordoba Capital got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Lehen. When Cristobal Eguen fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Cordoba Capital's protests and gave Cristobal Eguen a yellow card for diving instead. Cristobal Eguen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Moises Cristos took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Rivas. Hilario Rivas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Evelio Mendebal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Cordoba Capital's Hilario Rivas. Hilario Rivas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Cristobal Eguen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Brujas Football Club's Victoriano Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Rivas having to interfere. Dario Federigo's late challenge caught a Club Cordoba Capital's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Federigo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brujas Football Club getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dario Federigo hit a great ball. Hilario Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Urbes in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Urbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Rivas was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Eriberto Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Aldo Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Cordoba Capital's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Francho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavino Lehen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldo Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Tabb having to interfere. Aldo Francho kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Brujas Football Club's keeper Teo Tabb was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Evelio Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hilario Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Victoriano Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brujas Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Cordoba Capital's Hilario Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Mendebal in the 88th minute of play. Hilario Rivas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Urbes's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Gavino Lehen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Brujas Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
