After 16 minutes of play, Brujas Football Club's Evelio Mendebal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Balendin in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Tabb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Pirmin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Mendebal went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Evelio Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tomas Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Tabb having to interfere. Teo Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Panpili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
