With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Eliu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicasio Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Eliu having to interfere. Ciro Fraco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Hunfredo in the 26th minute of the match. When Nicasio Peru came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the All Eyes On Me fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Peru couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Mauricio Constancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakarias Fjallsa in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Cintra's Feliciano Urtungo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciro Fraco. Ciro Fraco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Nicasio Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Eyes On Me's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Fraco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Hustaz got free with Ciro Fraco in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artemio Hunfredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Hustaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Fraco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. When Felix Caton fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cintra's protests and gave Felix Caton a yellow card for diving instead.
