After a defensive mix-up in Estudiabantes's zone, Florencio Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Edwardo came out of the goal and Florencio Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Cecilio Mano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Berasko. Hume AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Mano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Florencio Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Iztal scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Edwardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hume AFC booed when Estudiabantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Hume AFC's Paulo Maraman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 77th minute, Gabriel Aresti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apolo Edwardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Generoso Tino charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Tino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Generoso Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiabantes's goalkeeper Apolo Edwardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
