Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gogo Matxin got the match started through his kick off. Candido Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jimeno Brion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encón. The audience was convinced that Gogo Matxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Brion was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Anier Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Abelardo Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Encón defense, Anier Sotil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Urtungo. The Encón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Urtungo should have stopped the shot. When Segundo Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encón's protests and gave Segundo Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Segundo Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Sotil might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Urtungo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Sotil ran back to his position shaking his head. Encón's Abelardo Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Gauargi in the 29th minute of play. Abelardo Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Gauargi in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Bonifacio Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Brion having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Gauargi to make the kick off. A collision led to Encón getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Segundo Serafo hit a great ball. Pucará FC's Daniel Quilo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Encón. After 59 minutes of play, Encón's Gogo Matxin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimeno Brion was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gogo Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encón's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Brion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angel Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jimeno Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Armando Gauargi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abelardo Urtungo, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Encón's Abelardo Urtungo got control of the ball when Anier Sotil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abelardo Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Sotil got in the 96th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Abelardo Urtungo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Encón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pucará FC for a fine match.
