Anibal Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Albano Carlomagno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Alumni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 20th minute, Alvaro Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anibal Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Anibal Dolfos had several of the Kabezaurio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Nacho Fernandez as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anibal Dolfos made a kick off. Nacho Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Dolfos's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Gavino Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Conrao charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Conrao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardo Etor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 90 played minutes Kabezaurio got a freekick which was hit by Felix Conrao. If Anibal Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Albano Carlomagno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Alumni's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Carlomagno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
