The referee ignored Maltide's protests and gave Erubiel Esiquio a yellow card for diving instead. Feliberto Jenaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nunez Ekain. Maltide's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonas Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Oxel in the 100th minute of play. Maltide's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
