The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Maltide's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Iraido came free, but Nunez Ekain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Apolo Lope shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Egoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Vinicio Oxel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Urquiza F.C.'s Marcial Egoi. Marcial Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nunez Ekain came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Urquiza F.C.'s Claudio Tiso. But to his dismay, Claudio Tiso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 21 minutes, Rosendo Conrao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urquiza F.C. and the Maltide players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Urquiza F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rosendo Conrao hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Urquiza F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Conrao. Marcial Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Eneto in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play Urquiza F.C.'s Rosendo Conrao was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Claudio Tiso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urquiza F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Tiso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dalmacio Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Urquiza F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Umbruso came free, but Marcial Egoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Tiso made a kick off. With a little luck, Urquiza F.C.'s Marcial Egoi got control of the ball when Dalmacio Umbruso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Tiso struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Nunez Ekain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urquiza F.C.. After 61 played minutes Maltide got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Ubendu. When Fabio Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maltide's protests and gave Fabio Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maltide getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fabio Eneto hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Urquiza F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Egoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Umbruso. Eustacio Ubendu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Claudio Tiso struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nunez Ekain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urquiza F.C.. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Vinicio Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maltide's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Oxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Egoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Oxel's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maltide had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
