River MdP's Marcelo Cordarrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Houseman in the 9th minute of play. Alberto Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rolando Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Melchor Firme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Atlético General Levalle's Rolando Sendoa got control of the ball when Melchor Firme tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in River MdP's zone, Rene Houseman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Cordarrel came out of the goal and Rene Houseman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Cordarrel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Houseman went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Atlético General Levalle's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Pacorro came free, but Rolando Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, River MdP's Alberto Pacorro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Sendoa. Rolando Sendoa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 37 minutes into the match, Atlético General Levalle's goalkeeper Rolando Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Eneas. Atlético General Levalle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Alberto Pacorro scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Sendoa, making the score, 4-1. When Melchor Firme fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River MdP's protests and gave Melchor Firme a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético General Levalle booed when River MdP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, River MdP's Benjamin Eneas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Houseman was the one to do the kick off. When Ángel Labruna fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River MdP's protests and gave Ángel Labruna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, River MdP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ángel Labruna to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético General Levalle's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Pacorro came free, but Rolando Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River MdP's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Pacorro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Atlético General Levalle's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Firme came free, but Rolando Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alberto Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Norberto Yácono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to River MdP getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Norberto Yácono hit a great ball. River MdP walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
