In the 14th minute Unión were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Nevada went to the cornerflag to take it. Unión's Nunez Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sugoi in the 19th minute of play. Adolfo Jakue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Adolfo Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Martes's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Baldomiro Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Baudelio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Unión's Baldomiro Jobo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Gaxan. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Baldomiro Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rafael Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unión's Nunez Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sugoi in the 39th minute of play. Erubiel Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 82ndth minute of the game Baldomiro Jobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Martes's Rafael Gaxan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Elivareo scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Gaxan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unión had won after a very even match.
