In the 18thth minute of the game Ezequiel Nataniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acomelia's Erasmo Martxelin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 21 in the game by Jacinto Cordarius from a close distance when the talented Natalio Arnas managed to make a qualified save. River's players were relieved. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Tonio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidro Alfonso hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Basilio Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acomelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Tonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Arnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Tonio in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Leopoldo Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Ekaitz was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
