If Anibal Totakoxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Christophersen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Roldanillo to maneuver through the defense. Pueblo Nuevo's Marcos Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Totakoxe in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Pueblo Nuevo booed when Christophersen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Roldanillo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Christophersen got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Turi. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pueblo Nuevo had won after a very even match.
