Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leon Froylan took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Cesar Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Jesco got free with Ruben Orlondo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ildefonso Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murphy's Ildefonso Jesco got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carmelo Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Bastian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Ruben Orlondo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ildefonso Jesco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Ruben Orlondo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, La Tablada FC's Ruben Orlondo got control of the ball when Cesar Bastian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ildefonso Jesco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Orlondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to La Tablada FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lisandro Francis hit a great ball. Ildefonso Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ruben Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Ildefonso Jesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Leon Froylan struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Guaberto Fresco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Tablada FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Jesco in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Orlondo saved La Tablada FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cesar Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murphy's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Bastian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Orlondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ruben Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Cesar Bastian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ildefonso Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angel Urtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Froylan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murphy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
