The referee ignored Cucu FC's protests and gave Lázaro Tonete a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Cucu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Tonete to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Primitivo Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Panpili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Indartsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cucu FC booed when Glorioso Vélez Sársfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Egoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Teobaldo Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Gomesano during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cucu FC's Jeremias Gomesano got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Erasto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Indartsu. Cucu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Erasto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Remigiusz Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Pio in the 27th minute of play. Joaquin Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilfredo Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Cucu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Bertran to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Indartsu came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Wilfredo Erasto. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Erasto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Txartiko to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Delmar Elequemedo got a free kick in the 56th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Txartiko came free, but Remigiusz Banan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Cucu FC got a corner. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Gomesano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeremias Gomesano made a great header on Cucu FC's corner, it was just that Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Remigiusz Banan managed to reach the ball for a save. Jeremias Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Erasto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicanor Indartsu, 1-4. Joaquin Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Remigiusz Banan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Txartiko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigiusz Banan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Froilan Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Cucu FC's Joaquin Musko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigiusz Banan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfredo Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
