Victorio Arias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magne Nykvist. Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Primitivo Ekain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Argenis having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Lucio Abeijon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Corderall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Angelo Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Roma got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Abeijon. If Primitivo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Roma got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Abeijon. Eriberto Enetz, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Filomeno Argenis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Italó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Gabino came free, but Filomeno Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Corderall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Rik to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Italó FC's Miguel Rik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magne Nykvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Filomeno Argenis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ahmet Sedat Ongul. In the 70th minute, Angelo Corderall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Gabino struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Filomeno Argenis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roma. A collision led to Italó FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lorenzo Errolan hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Italó FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Enetz. After having played for 79 minutes, Angel Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Gabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Eriberto Enetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roma the free kick. Filomeno Argenis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Rik came free, but Magne Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Angel Gabino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italó FC's Filomeno Argenis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Roma failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
