The Defensores del Tano fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Defensores del Tano's Silvio Haimar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Gabino was the one to do the kick off. Americo Urre did an outstanding performance 85 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 5-1 to the right of an irritated Ruben Furman in the goal. After some careless play in the Club Ferro Carril Oeste defense, Silvio Haimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Goyo. The Club Ferro Carril Oeste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Goyo should have stopped the shot. Casimiro Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Godofredo Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Defensores del Tano were victorious despite being under pressure from Club Ferro Carril Oeste for much of the match.
