In the 10th minute, Los Intocables's Rene Dorio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Los Intocables was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Dorio to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Espiridion who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Silvestre Gaur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rene Dorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th match minute, Ballycastle Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Loiola to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Amancio Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballycastle Bats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gaston Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballycastle Bats's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Karlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Los Intocables got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Hernando. Justo Karlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Los Intocables was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Domeka to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rene Dorio made the kick off in the second half. Amancio Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Justo Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Jacob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Los Intocables booed when Ballycastle Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Ugaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Dorio in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Ballycastle Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Espiridion came free, but Silvestre Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Amancio Bixintxo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Justo Karlo. Amancio Bixintxo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gaston Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Lizar during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Los Intocables was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ballycastle Bats getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Benicio Aznar hit a great ball. Los Intocables's Rene Dorio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Arturo Espiridion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Intocables's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Espiridion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Gaur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
