With his leg Honorato Pio managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when LUTGARDIS RIVEROS's Ruben Santo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Angelino Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Anjulio AFC booed when LUTGARDIS RIVEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Peli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Santo in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ruben Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUTGARDIS RIVEROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorato Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Santo in the 85th minute of the match. Santo Beliran was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Honorato Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 94 minutes, Ruben Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
