Gaspar Azubeli struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Cristobal Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for flores sud. Cristobal Nafarroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Dabi to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. flores sud's Denis Orlan got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Claudio Teofilio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and flores sud's Eulalio Lohitzun didn't even have to move. Eulalio Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gaspar Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Nafarroa stood somewhat misplaced when Denis Orlan came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 94 minute. The flores sud supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing flores sud would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
