Spectators: 7119 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Spinetta Jade's Rigoberto Dolcet in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Assunta's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Rigoberto Dolcet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Senen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Benigno Odilon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Senen. Assunta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Odilon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 26 minutes, Anacleto Pelayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assunta and the Spinetta Jade players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Spinetta Jade booed when Assunta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spinetta Jade's Rigoberto Dolcet got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Odilon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Estevon in the 30th minute. Assunta's Nunez Senen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Odilon in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Benigno Odilon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nunez Senen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Odilon in the 45th minute of play forced Assunta's goalkeeper Nunez Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Spinetta Jade were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Lon was the one to do the kick off. Benigno Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Senen having to interfere. The supporters of Spinetta Jade booed when Assunta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Orlanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Benigno Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spinetta Jade's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Odilon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Senen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Spinetta Jade defense, Jeronimo Estevon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Odilon. The Spinetta Jade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Odilon should have stopped the shot. Delmar Gustau's late challenge caught a Spinetta Jade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Gustau helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Gustau hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Odilon having to interfere. When Bonifacio Lon, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Epifanio Odilon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Spinetta Jade's zone, Jeronimo Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Odilon came out of the goal and Jeronimo Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute of the match, Rigoberto Dolcet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nunez Senen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spinetta Jade walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
