The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Estebe got free with Baldomero Itzaina in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, Funes FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Itzaina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Estebe. Albino Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Itzaina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Johns in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Hartz during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SapbeMon.FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Funes FC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baldomero Cordaryal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SapbeMon.FC's Albino Evis. 1-1. In the 24th minute Benicio Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SapbeMon.FC's Ubaldo Estebe got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Funes FC's Baldomero Cordaryal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Benito Bilintx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Itzaina. Benito Bilintx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Ubaldo Estebe's late challenge caught a Funes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Estebe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Ubaldo Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Estebe had several of the Funes FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Baldomero Itzaina as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Estebe made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SapbeMon.FC booed when Funes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Estebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Baldomero Itzaina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Estebe in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Itzaina saved Funes FC from getting behind. Funes FC's Baldomero Itzaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Estebe in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, SapbeMon.FC's Mark Johns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Itzaina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Romulo Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. SapbeMon.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Ixaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Itzaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Ubaldo Estebe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Romulo Ixaka came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SapbeMon.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Ixaka couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ubaldo Estebe put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomero Itzaina. Ubaldo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SapbeMon.FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
