After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Orlando Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chanchos's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Jurdan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Aureliano Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Chanchos were awarded a corner. Basilio Loramendi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Chanchos's Orlando Diaz to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Jurdan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Melchor Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Chanchos's Lino Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Jurdan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lino Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Flavio Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Remigio Quintan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adan Seguinus. The goal made the score 1-1. Melchor Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Flavio Jurdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Diaz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Amancio Rubio hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After 49 played minutes, Retamito AFC's Julio Pedroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adan Seguinus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Retamito AFC reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Orlando Diaz made the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Orlando Diaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retamito AFC's Flavio Jurdan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 59 played minutes Lino Flor rounded Retamito AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 62 minutes into the match, Retamito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Batista came free, but Flavio Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Salaberry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Jurdan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Diaz got free with Flavio Jurdan in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adan Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Orlando Diaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Jurdan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Orlando Diaz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Chanchos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Orlando Diaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Jurdan was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Flavio Jurdan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Hugo Salaberry sent off a good shot on target. Melchor Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Jurdan having to interfere. Orlando Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Flavio Jurdan made a huge save. Chanchos played a much better game than Retamito AFC and deserved their victory. The Retamito AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
