Maximiliano Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Oriche in the 22nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Palos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 45 minutes of play, Atraucó AFC's Jeronimo Palos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Rudolfo to make the kick off. Atraucó AFC's Ariel Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Chago in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Marcelino Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Froilan Garikoitz in the 60th minute really tested Maximiliano Maju's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Marcelino Cresconio fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cumbia Cerveza y River's protests and gave Marcelino Cresconio a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Cumbia Cerveza y River got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Cresconio. In the 75th minute, Atraucó AFC's Arnulfo Derwin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 79th minute of the match, Jeronimo Palos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maximiliano Maju was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 83 minutes, Tomás Guter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cumbia Cerveza y River and the Atraucó AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Conrado Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Boni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Atraucó AFC booed when Cumbia Cerveza y River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
