In the 18th minute, Prudencio Manny made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Ortzi. CA RIVER PLATE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. CA RIVER PLATE's Mario Jaen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esteve Caradaro but with some difficulty. Antonio Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Paulino Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Antonio Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Antonio Garaile took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulino Ortzi. CA RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Isaac Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Ubelteso couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, CA RIVER PLATE's Isaac Quintyn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Caradaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
