Godofredo Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Sandaili having to interfere. Guido Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Furman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 27 in the game by Honorio Berbiz from a close distance when the talented Guido Arnalt managed to make a qualified save. Chacra2's players were relieved. After having played for 34 minutes, Honorio Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Quarz United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Berbiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chacra2's Guido Arnalt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Chacra2 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Cordera in the 41st minute of play forced SC Quarz United's goalkeeper Leonides Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladimiro Furman to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, SC Quarz United's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Caradaro came free, but Leonides Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, SC Quarz United's Vladimiro Furman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Arnalt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Godofredo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Honorio Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guido Arnalt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chacra2's zone, Vladimiro Furman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Arnalt came out of the goal and Vladimiro Furman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Chacra2's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Furman came free, but Guido Arnalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Honorio Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Leonides Sandaili managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Chacra2's Eusebio Cordera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chacra2's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
