With a left leg Leonides Sandaili saved SC Quarz United from getting behind. Jairo Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Sandaili having to interfere. Silvio Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes SC Quarz United got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Domeka. 24 minutes into the match, Silvio Pirmin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Sandaili. SC Quarz United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Pirmin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jairo Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonides Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Honorio Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Quarz United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Berbiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Quarz United's Vladimiro Furman got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Pocitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Furman came free, but Cecilio Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes SC Quarz United got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Nuno. Cecilio Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Furman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Pocitos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Jairo Lleir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leonides Sandaili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiburcio Raitin's late challenge caught a SC Quarz United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Raitin helped the player get up and apologised. Anibal Xabat placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 62 minutes, Abel Mateo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocitos FC and the SC Quarz United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvio Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SC Quarz United's Leonides Sandaili got control of the ball when Jairo Lleir tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Vladimiro Furman made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Abar. Pocitos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Pocitos FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Victorino Beat hit a great ball. Cecilio Abar came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Quarz United's Vladimiro Furman. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Furman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 98th minute, Vladimiro Furman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Abar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
