Candido Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pulqui's Aquiles Soin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Urti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 27thth minute of the game Aquiles Soin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avellaneda's Roque Urti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Aquiles Soin came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Deportivo Pulqui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Soin couldn't finish the play. Christian Argenis's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pulqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Argenis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Pulqui booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Deportivo Pulqui's Aquiles Soin in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Izel during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Deportivo Pulqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Izel to maneuver through the defense. The Avellaneda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Pulqui were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Soin was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Roque Urti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nicolas Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Moita having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Ospin in the 56th minute of play forced Deportivo Pulqui's goalkeeper Zacarias Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Aquiles Soin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Roque Urti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Aquiles Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pulqui's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Moita having to interfere. A hard shot 75 in the game by Aquiles Soin from a close distance when the talented Roque Urti managed to make a qualified save. Avellaneda's players were relieved. When Christian Argenis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th match minute, Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Argenis to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Aquiles Soin made a precise shot to the right of Roque Urti. Avellaneda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Avellaneda's Roque Urti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Soin in the 82nd minute of play. If Candido Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Soin let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 90th minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. After having played for 94 minutes, Aquiles Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pulqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Ponc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Deportivo Pulqui's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Avellaneda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Pulqui were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
