Rolando Maore struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Roque Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muschaca. Avellaneda's Roque Urti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Nuxila in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Rolando Maore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Urti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Nuxila's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Roque Urti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Nuxila went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vladimiro Ospin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Celipe having to make a save. Rolando Maore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Roque Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Urti came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Muschaca's Rolando Maore. But to his dismay, Rolando Maore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Mateo Celipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muschaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avellaneda the free kick. In the 36th minute of the match Celestino Niva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Celipe skillfully saved the ball. Vladimiro Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Celipe having to interfere. The supporters of Muschaca booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Urti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Maore's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Valentin Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Micael was the one to do the kick off. Avellaneda's Roque Urti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. Albino Iratxo's late challenge caught a Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Iratxo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Muschaca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Nicolas Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Micael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Celipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valentin Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Rolando Maore made a precise shot to the right of Roque Urti. Avellaneda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Albino Iratxo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes, Agustin Loi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muschaca and the Avellaneda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Avellaneda booed when Muschaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Loi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Micael might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Micael ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Muschaca's Mateo Celipe got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Avellaneda's Celestino Niva tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Valentin Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vladimiro Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Muschaca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Avellaneda throughout the match.
