In the 5th minute, Vladimiro Ospin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avellaneda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vladimiro Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. After 26 played minutes JoMan Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Todor. Pastor Iban's late challenge caught a Avellaneda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Iban helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, JoMan Juniors's Pastor Iban got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Nicolas Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avellaneda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Micael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda's Cirilo Eladio got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Lluc to strike the kick off in the second half. If Vladimiro Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avellaneda's Nicolas Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Severiano Todor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The supporters of Avellaneda booed when JoMan Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Micael struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Paulino Sandaili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avellaneda. Paulino Sandaili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Avellaneda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
