Fausto Sasoin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ludari booed when Challacó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Pacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Challacó's zone, Roberto Abel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Ekhi came out of the goal and Roberto Abel tried to chip the ball over his head. Leon Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Pacho was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Roberto Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Jaunzuria in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Silban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Erubiel Ovando came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Challacó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Ovando couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes Ludari got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Marin. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ludari walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
