After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Salvador Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chino F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Pietro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Maxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Guerau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Maxin having to make a save. A collision led to Tejas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Modesto Polo hit a great ball. Salvador Pietro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ramiro Ricart took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentin Leocadio. Chino F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th play minute Anselmo Ferran came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zeledon Maxin. 1-0. Ernesto Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Zeledon Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Guerau in the 28th minute of play. Anselmo Ferran took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Maxin. Zeledon Maxin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Valentin Leocadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Loren in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Chino F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Loren came free, but Valentin Leocadio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tejas's zone, Fulgencio Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Maxin came out of the goal and Fulgencio Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Marcelino Mambru made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Leocadio. Chino F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Zeledon Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tejas booed when Chino F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes, Jesus Tonete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tejas and the Chino F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Tejas got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Tonete. Tejas's Zeledon Maxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Guerau in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Guerau in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Maxin saved Tejas from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Tejas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Hever to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Anselmo Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Ferran in the 87th minute of play. Fulgencio Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zeledon Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anselmo Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Chino F.C were the better team. Chino F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
