Lorenzo Maura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the A5 WG defense, Adolfo Niguel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Maura. The A5 WG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Maura should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Nicolas Montay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to A5 WG getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Angelo Furman hit a great ball. 11 minutes in the game, Angelo Furman got a free kick from a good position and fired away a shot. The shot didn't have enough spin and went out of bounds to the left of the goal. Danilo Amor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nicolas Montay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Guzman in the 21st minute of the match. Angelo Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Niguel in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Maura saved A5 WG from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Fernado came free, but Nicolas Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Montay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Furman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Chago in the 32nd minute of play forced A5 WG's goalkeeper Lorenzo Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Maura having to interfere. If Pastor Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Matancilla FC's Pastor Salomon got a free kick in the 38th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Chago to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, A5 WG's Angelo Furman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Montay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd match minute, A5 WG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Maule to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Lorenzo Maura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Furman came free, but Nicolas Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adolfo Niguel came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Matancilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Niguel couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Marco Chago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A5 WG's Lorenzo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Chago in the 83rd minute of play. Adolfo Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Matancilla FC defense, Angelo Furman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Montay. The Matancilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Montay should have stopped the shot. Angelo Furman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matancilla FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing A5 WG to leave the ground with a draw.
