The supporters of Matancilla FC booed when CSyD Estrella de Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. CSyD Estrella de Boedo's Prudencio Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save CSyD Estrella de Boedo from getting a goal against them. Prudencio Manny didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Adan Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Matancilla FC's Nicolas Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Bazkoare in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Bazkoare in the 25th minute of play forced Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Augusto Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Montay was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 33rd minute Bonifacio Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matancilla FC's Nicolas Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Santana in the 34th minute of play. Pastor Salomon charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Salomon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pastor Salomon hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Augusto Santana came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the CSyD Estrella de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Santana couldn't finish the play. Rolando Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Manny having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Montay made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bonifacio Bazkoare sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 95 minutes, Bonifacio Bazkoare made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Matancilla FC's Nicolas Montay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CSyD Estrella de Boedo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
